Virgil Cane

'Open Your Eyes To The Truth'

Intrigued by the invitation to join a secret meeting by his seductive and mysterious new girlfriend Dana Bianchi, Nick Mason attends, along with other carefully selected guests. It is there that he encounters the evangelical charismatic speaker Virgil Cane, who convinces him and others of the urgent need to take direct action, if we are to save our planet from wanton destruction before it's too late.

As Cane's so called 'disciples' answer the calling, world economies quickly begin to slip into chaos and companies are faced with the impossible dilemma of protecting themselves from the very people who work for them.

But is it too little too late? And what are the real motives behind Virgil Cane's actions?

Is he an eco warrior, the saviour of our planet, or a new age terrorist? And can Olivier Bernard, the chief of Interpol, tasked with finding and stopping Cane, achieve his objective, before the world slides into anarchy?

Author's Note
I had the idea for
'Virgil Cane' some years ago, however I was so taken with writing 'The Dream Caster', that I parked it, until that novel was finished. In truth, I was even then in two minds as to whether to write a novel about new-age terrorism and taking extreme direct action. However, like all of my novels, I thought the story line was a good one and so I put pen to paper as it were and started writing. Two years later it was finished.

About Phil Perry

Phil was born in Bermondsey, South East London, before moving to Farnborough Hampshire where he spent most of his teenage years.

Phil then moved to Bristol where he lived with his family for a number of years, before settling down in Cheshire where he currently lives with his wife Angie and their dog Teddy.

It was not until Phil was in his forties, that he wrote his first novel, 'The Battle of Baxter Bakery' that was inspired from an idea he'd had from Junior school. After completing that, Phil had the idea for The 'Dream Caster' and dived straight into writing that novel, before turning his attention to 'Virgil Cane'.

Phil writes as a hobby, as he remains in full-time employment as a Senior Manager within a large employer in the North West of England
